Following the traces of history… Discovering the war events that affected the Ledro Valley over the last two centuries.
In the chapel of Santo Stefano is the tomb of the unknown soldier. The white marble cross at the top of the hill commemorates all Austrian and Italian soldiers who died in the Battle of Bezzecca on July 21, 1866. The trenches running along the hill date back to the First World War and were the main Italian position in the Ledro Valley.
In the summer months, the Garibaldino and Great War Museum in the village offers the opportunity to deepen the history of Bezzecca and the Ledro Valley.
